About KRISTA REINKING
Currently a graduate admissions counselor for Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri, Krista Reinking earned both a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and a Master of Education in Educational Organization and Leadership in Higher Education Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. During her undergraduate years, she played for the Fighting Illini women’s basketball team and received nomination to the All-Big Ten Team for three seasons. In recognition of her exceptional performance on the court and in the classroom, Krista Reinking received the Lilian Speck Courtsiders Award.
While completing her graduate studies, Ms. Reinking served as an assistant women’s basketball coach for her alma mater. Later, she spent five years as assistant basketball coach for the Oregon State University women’s basketball team, which included managing a Pacific Northwest scouting portfolio comprising hundreds of high school and junior college prospects. As an administrative associate for the women’s basketball program at the University of Texas at Austin, Krista Reinking created and managed a recruitment database cataloging more than 1,000 players and coaches.
Just after receiving her master’s degree, Ms. Reinking attained a position as a coordinator for the University of Illinois Medical Scholars Program. Prior to joining Webster University, she helped the DeVry University Keller Graduate School of Management generate sustained revenue as a senior admissions officer responsible for enrolling new students every eight weeks.
Outside of her career, Krista Reinking cares for rescue animals, runs half-marathons, and enjoys a good cup of coffee.
